Thank you for the info. all the functions are currently wired to a switch on my garmin. I hadn’t tapped into the BCM yet to trigger them. So I was just hitting switches to run through the functions.

Alrighty, made some progress today. Welding went well. I’ll be a little more careful and less liberal with the chemicals next time around but it certainly worked. I spent a decent amount of time sanding the joints and the whole housing in general. It’s not perfect. But it’ll do for a working...

You can see it doing its thing. Why are you scared? Its not a hard change.

Small update: I’m currently plastic welding the 3 pieces together. Once it cures, I can sand the joints and clean it up a bit. I’m probably going to put some sort of coating on the outside to “seal” it since fdm printing isn’t necessarily “solid” to where water can’t seep through between layers...
