Ordered 22 tremor

I ordered a 22 tremor in white. I like the looks of the wheel well liners to cover up the white in the rear. But my question is I live in Michigan and worried about salt and snow behind them eating up the body. Any one run them before and can give me some advice or knowledge on them
Thanks in advance

In my opinion they keep some of the road material from splashing on the frame and other parts. In my location I deal more with salt and various forms of snow melting concoctions than snow it’s self. Always wash under the truck with or without liners. Plus looks a lot better. My 2 pennies.

Heya, new here.. I got the Husky liners on my 21. They go down further than the Ford ones and imo would protect more from the elements.

I've been running the husky liners in all my trucks up here in snowy Alberta. I've had no issues and they do a great job. Always wash the lip around the wheel well opening though.

Like the others say, I wouldn't worry since any splashes would just hit the lip and drip due to gravity. To be certain, just spray around the lip like Jstonk stated. Should be good go!

Also, for white truck, a wheel well would almost be mandatory :)

I went with the Ford liners. I know the dealership couldn't tell me if the 2021 Ford F-150 rear liners would fit the Tremor based on my VIN# but I assumed it should be the same. I ordered them anyway. They do fit.

I think they complete the truck as well as protecting the components. Kinda surprised Ford doesn’t provide em.

Ordered the Ford OEM liners from ebay and installed about 3 weeks ago. The install was SUPER EASY. Literally 15 minutes. I had these on my '13 F150, and they really helped...

Do you have a part number for the Ford liners. My dealer couldn't find them which makes no sense to me. Thanks

I had to look these up but here is the FORD OEM Part Number: ML3Z-9927886-A. I believe this is correct. I basically told the FORD parts dept. give me the Rear wheel liners for the 2021 Ford F-150 since they couldn't match anything up with my Vin#. Even though its a Tremor, I assumed that part of the F-150's should be the same. I was correct. I know guys here also like the Husky liners. Sounds like those may provide a little more coverage.

Updated question for the group.

I'm hoping to confirm that Husky Liners (https://www.huskyliners.com/Wheel-Well-Guards-Wheel-Well-Liners/2022/ford/f-150). Their customer support says they don't fit and the site also rejects the notion. Anyone have an experience that confirms they fit the 2022 Tremor? It feels like it may be the same situation as the Ford Liner conversation above... Thanks in advance.

21-22 F150 Husky Rear Wheel Well Liners 79161

This is the proper model number, if it's the same they work.

Husky Liners 79161 fit my 2022. Just need to trim a little bit (1/2’x2”) around the RR shock.

I had the Husky’s waiting in my garage for when my truck came in or I found, one. Took them to dealer amd asked them to install as final part of our deal. I agree they should be a standard feature.

Thanks. Just installed mine. I didn’t have a need to trim. I’ll keep and eye on it for wear.
Just installed mine too, but did trim a bit -

I just recently installed the OEM ones . Still wash undernearth, just looks cleaner with them. Next on the list, this coming week - Rocker PPF and Full Truck Ceramic coating, then leveled.

Might have considered the Husky ones, however used Ford points to cover the cost !

I live here in Pennsylvania and had the similar concerns with regard to ice/snow/salt buildup. I installed the Ford OEM liners soon after taking delivery in January 2022. The vehicle just looks more finished with the liners installed, AND I did not observe an abundance of buildup behind the liners. I am glad I installed the liners, and would not hesitate to recommend the installation to others.

Factory liners for me. I can still wash my airbags and cradles clean. The Husky ones look to make that more difficult.
