Has anyone experienced rubbing at full lock left or right with the factory wheels and tires?

Yes, I believe I have. I have heard the sound a few times but haven't confirmed it actually rubbing yet. Kinda disappointing if it is.

Hi there… wanted to check with you to see if you found anything with the rubbing? Mine is doing it in the full right position. I can’t find what is causing it on mine

Same. Full right at low speed is fine but giving it a little gas and somethings rubbing. Full left seems fine as I haven't heard or felt anything.

Exactly the same here. I’ve gotta take mine into the dealer soon for a couple other things. Will let you know if they come up with anything… thanks!

I mainly feel it in reverse, low speed left and right. I haven’t really had too much time to look into it.

I also have some light rubbing at low speeds. I took a look this evening and at least on mine, it looks like a excessive bend on the driver side wheel well liner. I'll probably trim 1/2" or so should resolve it.

I'll need to take a look at mine tomorrow and see if this is the issue. I looked quickly a few times and didn't see anything but didn't look too hard either. Thanks for the visual.

I had rubbing on my passenger side front wheel well when doing full turns. Figured out it was that plastic liner between engine and wheel. It was bent a little towards tire. I was going to just maybe use a heat gun to possibly bend back but I changed out the front shocks with the leveling kit which gave me about 2-1/4 lift in the front. That must have cleared it so I just left it. I just sent my shocks up to be fixed and replaced with my stocks. Now the rubbing again 🤦‍♂️ . I will probably just try and fix now. I know I can just take it to the dealer but man those guys aren't the greatest. Probably have to bring in for the day. Then they probably don't have the parts, then wait awhile and bring in another day and all day .

I have some free time the next couple of days, so I’ll have my son back up full lock in both directions while I look at it. He doesn’t have a license, so full turns are a guarantee.

Rubbin', Son, is racing.

Or harry, for those not of days of thunder

Haha. It's Harry (Robert Duvall) from Days of Thunder. Fun fact, parts of that movie were filmed in my backyard.
Your actual backyard or just like the neighborhood?

Well on the lake behind my house, so not like where I cut the grass :ROFLMAO: . The house that Michael Rooker lived in the movie is a couple doors down from me.

Next time I visit my bro and sis-in-law, I’ll be sure to stop by just to intrude…errrr… say hey, parts of days of thunder were filmed here.

The plastic/rubber part of the driver wheel well liner was curled a lot towards the wheel. Was able to fold back and it stayed pretty straight like it should have been. The rubbing when at full right is now gone

I’ll take a look and see if that’s my issue.
