Is anyone using the Builtright front license plate mount? Colorado has the front license plate law and I’ve been pulled over before for not having a front license plate.

Anyway, I was looking for other options than the stock bracket and this seems to be the best option.

If anyone is using, could you please post pics and short review of quality and where this mounts/install, I’d greatly appreciate it.

I have one sitting on my workbench. Quality is fantastic, I’ll try to get it installed tomorrow and get a pic for ya.

Cheif,
I’d also be curious if any interference with the parking sensor. Thanks a lot.

I would have run builtrite but didn’t see it offered when looking.

I’m running the Swarfworks bracket, stout as ever!

Somehow, it looks out of balance to the side. I'm fine with the factory mount in the center with my TREMOR plate on it. I had a 14 Tremor and the factory location was on the drivers side of the bumper. I never really cared for that.

Installed mine today, it’s a nice piece of kit but it’s not a “bolt on” for tremors. The silver plastic trim between the bumper and skid play is missing the 2 holes for the mount bolts. It’s an easy fix though. I loosened the passenger side 10mm mounting bolt for the trim piece and was able to pull it out far enough to drill the holes. Added 5 minutes to the install, but the bolt is a bit tricky to get to, the skid plate is in the way. I did have a few marks left in my bumper from the OEM bracket that I’m confident my detailer will be able to bud out next time she’s in the spa, see pic below. Pics aren’t the best but let me know if you wanna see something else! All in all I’m really happy with it, save my tow hook and let me open up the CAC intake for some lights!

Sorry JeffCO, don’t have the parking sensors but I’d imagine you could position it to avoid them, it had a VERy wide range of mounting adjustments.

I think the sensor will be close to seeing it. For sure the Swarfworks one will be in the way.

The entire back of the license plate mount is drilled for attachment to the mounting bracket (see picture) so I’m pretty sure you could move it low enough to avoid the sensor. Not sure how it would look that low. Though .

Only a few more years and I’m free……

I built this myself, but no problem with sensors. Looking and the install of this Built Right version, I'm pretty sure you could locate it where mine is and it should be good.

I live in a front license plate state, took mine off anyways. If I get caught I'll just say it broke, waiting on new mounting parts, covid, yada yada. Probably won't work, but worth a try. The truck looks so much better without a front plate.

Hey that’s gunna be my line! Even tho my front plate is suspiciously mint…

So you just drilled the holes here and the bracket fits underneath? Should have mine this week and noticed this.

Yep, I followed the YouTube instructions and moved the rubber trim out of the way then used a sharpie to trace the holes onto the gray/silver plastic trim, Then removed the attachment bolt found Between the trim and the skid plate. That gave me enough slack to pull the passenger side of the trim out far enough to drill the holes out. It’s pretty easy to see what needs to be done once you start. The bolt is kind of frustrating to get to, I was originally going to remove all 3 but I don’t think you can remove the middle one with the skid plate in place. Luckily just removing the end one give you just enough room!

Edit- just realized that’s your pic and not mine! Yep, mark the holes with a sharpie and drill there!

I can verify the Builtright relocation bracket does not interfere with any of the sensors. Now if only my garage did not interfere with them! All the beeping and flashing….
