    J&l catch can install...yes!...edited

risk of overflow is the reason. accumulation should be more in winter. i believe the solution is a can with a level sensor. 301 Designs makes the only one i’ve ever seen. they have a Chevy bracket, otherwise it’s a custom install for Ford. i may go this route. anybody know of other options...

    Surf Boat Towing (Squat?)

Anybody towing a newer surf boat? Newer designs weight more, about 7,500lbs on the trailer. The manufacturer or the dealer can’t tell me what the tongue weight is. Very curious what the squat will be? Post up if you got’em!

Halolifts Coilover - Group Buy Info in First Post!

@Truckin - are these supposedly the 'revised' versions? I am very curious what was revised. Since you have them, could you take a measurement of the overall (mounting) length of the strut? From top of the tophat to bottom of the cross pin. Also, what is the code printed on the spring? That...

Halo vs. Bilstein or Eibach ride quality

@SP1 could you ask why Icon won’t endorse their non-Tremor kits for use on Tremor? I would think they could do this and simply reduce the claimed amount of lift in the Tremor application.

Halo vs. Bilstein or Eibach ride quality

That’s how I would do it with the Eibach snap ring kit as well. Run their 0 or 0.7” lift setting (preload) and get the rest of the lift from a spacer on top. Seems to be the smartest way to achieve desired lift while maintaining maximum down-travel.

Halo vs. Bilstein or Eibach ride quality

The thing I’ve learned about cranking up the preload, to lift the vehicle, which I’ve noticed is not often talked about is…. loss of down-travel. I have recently talked to many manufacturers and retailers to inquire: “how much up-travel is OEM, how much down-travel is OEM, and what amount of...

Halo vs. Bilstein or Eibach ride quality

The Eibach Coil Over is a nice unit but uses a spring that is 12% lighter than OEM. I prefer not to de-rate the load carrying capabilities of my truck, so I’ve dismissed that option. The option I referred to in original post is the Eibach snap ring which uses the OEM spring.

Halo vs. Bilstein or Eibach ride quality

Icon for Tremor is too much lift for me. They claim 2.5-3.0” over stock. I wish Icon would endorse their non-Tremor offering for use on Tremor, that would give me the 1.5” I’m looking for. Haven’t dig deep enough to learn what their valving, spring, or ride comparison would be.

Halo vs. Bilstein or Eibach ride quality

For front struts, contemplating Halo IFP or Bilstein 5100 (OEM spring), 6112 (Bilstein spring), or Eibach Sport shock (OEM spring) for on-road use and daily driving. Has anyone gone back to back with any of these systems on a Tremor? The Halo is progressive valving with a spring rate 17%-36%...

    McCarthy's 2023 Tremor 402A

@McCarthy I have the same question as @traymore above.... about lack of down travel due to high amount of preload.
