Anybody have 18x9" wheels with a +18 Offset installed?

Curious to see how much poke there will be? I will also install a 285x75x18 Tire.

Thanks

Your rim lip will be 1.6 inches further outboard, but due to the wider rim vs stock the tire itself won't be the full 1.6 further out. Probably closer to about 1 inch or 3/4 of an inch outboard vs stock

I have the same question as I’m considering the same fitment. and would like to see it in real life. I believe the outer edge of the 285 tire should be +21mm further than OEM.

The information provided by @TexasTea is incorrect because he used 7” and the OEM is actually 7.5”

I’m considering Method MR318 in 18x9et18 with 285/75-18 tire. Would be great to see if anyone has’em!

I have MR317s with +18 offset, but Mickey Thompson 35x12.5 tires. Not quite the same setup, but maybe similar enough to be of some help.

I also apologize that these aren't perfectly aligned to show the poke, but here's what I have. Hope it helps!

Very helpful! What are you running for a level kit? have you ever rubbed? Have you ever done any trimming?

Couldnt remember off my head. I stand corrected. Deduct 1/4 inch (both sides of center/mount point)

I thought I posted this, but it doesn't seem to have posted, so here it is again, possibly.

No trimming. The reason I went with the +18 offset in the MR317 wheels and MT Baja Boss tires is because I talked to other people with it and it worked for them without trimming, without crash bar removal or modification. Just the lift was all it needed.

The only rub happened at compression at full turn when the wheels were improperly aligned- and it only hit the outside corner of the OEM wheel well cover that was sticking into the wheel well (probably more than it should've been). I haven't been wheeling since the last alignment, but I haven't noticed any rub on-road in places where I would've heard rubbing before.

The level kit is Halo Lifts 2.5" IFP front coilovers with about 2.5" of lift. On the rear, I have 2.5" Halo shocks with stock leaf springs and tapered Raptor blocks. I probably could've gone with better suspension components, but these seemed to fit my needs without being too far out of budget. Once I get a job again, I may upgrade the shocks and front coilovers to reservoir/Stage 3 or something like that. My first priority though is upgrading the leaf springs so I don't have so much sag in the back.

I need to update it with the leaf spring sag-a (pun intended ), but I go into some detail about the install and parts on my build page, linked here: (Machine Build Page), if you're interested and have some time.
