My Tremor is about to turn over 2,000 miles and I plan to have it scheduled for it's first service. I thought I'd share the email that I just sent to my local dealer that includes a list of the items I would like to have addressed:

2022 F-150 Tremor
Mileage: 1,967 (as of 2/8/2022)

Oil Change / Tire Rotation:

  • Please use 1 of my 3 AdvantageCARE oil changes / tire rotations. **I would like to pay the extra $40 to make these synthetic oil changes.
  • The truck has a full size matching spare tire/wheel so I would like this to be rotated in with the others when the tire rotation is performed. I’ve heard that a TPMS sensor will need to be added to this tire, but I’m okay paying for this.
  • **I only like to use touchless carwashes so please do not wash it.
Warranty Items / Concerns:
  • My #1 complaint: Wireless CarPlay has frequent interruptions. These seems to occur at the same locations along my route to and from work each day. This leads me to believe that there are of signals that interfere with the connectivity of my phone. NOTE: Two of my colleagues have 2022 Ford trucks with Wireless CarPlay and they both experience these same interruptions.
  • The Ambient Light in the passenger side rear door pocket is very dim. Upon inspection, it appears that the light is not secured in the correct location.
  • The Exhaust has a rattle that can be heard for the first 60 seconds or so following a cold start.
  • I often get a warning message in the instrument cluster that reads “Reverse Brake Assist Not Available” when backing up.
  • The instrument cluster often freezes for a moment on the “Built Ford Tough” screen during start-up.
  • The front side of the rear axle housing has some significant surface rust. I’ve heard this is common on the new F-150s but I still wanted to report this.
  • When viewing the back up camera while driving, there is a message that reads “Full view not available”. Is this normal?
  • This last weekend, the main 12” infotainment screen was off when I started the truck and remained off for a 3-5 minutes until the Ford logo finally appeared and the system booted up. This only happened once, but I wanted to report it.
  • The owners manual did not come with a case. Is Ford still providing these with new vehicles?

Sounds good, the only thing I will tell you is I was told they no longer provided the nice little covers for the owners manual, they now use a Ziploc style baggie. The rear view camera does display a message when using it while driving but I can't remember exactly what it does say. I've driven multiple f150 in the 2021 model year and a friend has a lariat and they've all displayed the same message but it's only in the one view.

I'm still waiting for my March appointment for as built issues.
