Just wondering what kind of things people are powering with their Tremor, and for how long, with the Pro Power option (2 kW)? I do a fair bit of off-grid camping in the fall and winter here in Ontario, and I'm wondering if I should have added this option (just to power the basics for a 5-6 day camping trip - heater, chargers, etc.).

Funny story. Two weeks ago, we lost power about 5am. I picked up my kurig walked out to my truck and poof! Coffee. I also used it to power one of my air compressors

Basically anything that needs power. In Miami when hurricanes knock out our power... I'll have options now lol. When camping you can power all types of accessories. I work in construction, can power tools. Literally if it takes electricity, you can now power it. I think it's insanely useful, like to the point that the f150 with that just shits all over other trucks. Why haven't we always had this kind of thing.

I'm planning on camping out of the back of mine so I can see it being super usefull. I'd likely only use it for a space heater in winter and maybe a kettle or something. Sounds like a pretty handy option! I'd be curious to see the cost break down on how much it runs in fuel vs hours of use etc.

What everyone hasnt had thus? Lol, I had to build my own mobile power system (now called solar generators) to do what is now a simple plug

Man it's great. And the plug inside the cab is awesome, my girlfriend works remote so she didn't even have to tske time off to accompany me to Granger. When we are driving back she will be able to plug the laptop in and use mobile wifi and work while I drive. We are living in the future.

I’m thinking retrofitting an A/C unit to keep bed cool under tonneau cover hauling meat back from long distance hunting trips.

Shouldn't be hard to do. Just keep the bed and above the meat insulated. Some of those foam floor squares should do the trick

Hey Steve! You're wondering if the 2 kW Pro Power is good for camping in Ontario to run things like a heater and chargers for 5-6 days. It sounds like it could be really useful for your trips. I'm curious what others think about it too!
