2021 Raptor Engine cover

I installed the 2021 Raptor Engine cover. I liked the Ford Performance on the sides and feel it looks much better than the stock EcoBoost cover. I tried to get smart and got the Raptor cover for the 2020 thinking both are 3.5 and should fit. That one looks almost the same. It has Ecoboost in the front instead of Raptor which I preferred. I was wrong. The 2020 one Does not fit. . I was on the fence for the 2021 Raptor one and decided to get it. I can overlook the Raptor wording for the overall look. Besides, isn't the Tremor quicker on the road? . Maybe somebody has ideas and may be able to change the Raptor wording to Tremor?

That’s cool, I like the concept. If someone made a Tremor lettering badge in same dimensions I supposed you could shave down Raptor or lay off if it’s recessed and apply Tremor.

I’m pretty sure I put correct number for the 2021 cover but I do have both and will double check. But the one with the Ecoboost on it is for the 2019-2020 Raptor and does not fit the 2021 Tremors. I think you may possibly be able to trim the cover to fit. The bracket in back and those 2 holes do match up. It’s just the way its cut, that it doesn’t fit. The 2021 Raptor cover is more flat compared to the 2020 version.

Ya the part # I have showing originally is correct for the 2021 Raptor cover that does fit the 2021 Tremor. That KR7Z- 6A949-A is correct for the 2020 Raptor cover that does not fit the 2021 Tremor. After looking at the 2020 version (Ecoboost) with some modifications possibly trimming around the sides to make it more flat, there is a good chance it will fit but not 100% sure. Not sure after cutting this foam like material, how it would look after that too. Again I know the back bracket and holes do match up.

I just picked up one of these engine covers as well. I too would like to do something to cover up the "Raptor" logo. Was thinking the Tremor badge on the tailgate being approximately the same height and width might be a decent option.

I picked up the 2020 version and plan to trim it, on other forums people have made it work on regular f150s.

Have it on my list to take apart and paint after trimming it.

As far as the raptor goes on yours, i would recommend making a badge on Etsy with the tremor logo and colors and then just use an adhesive to stick it over. Might be tricky to make it flush but if you have a badge that is somewhat flexible you could form it to the curve, adhesive it on with epoxy, and clamp it overnight so it's nice and flush. Sand below the emblem first so if sticks well. That would be what I would do.
