Just found this video on YouTube. I wasnt sure that it was really a 2022, but the video clearly shows the wireless charger. Also, the truck in the video does NOT have the digital temp gauge on the knobs (disappointing).

I wonder how difficult it will be later to just change the knows to the '21 ones... also somewhat dissappointed about that.

I heard the cup holder lighting is gone also for '22 but haven't been able to confirm.

This is disappointing about the knobs. Anyone think they can be changed in the future?

I wonder if that's a chip issue, that's why they removed the digital temp?

Probably fortunate that that’s all they’ve did away with. I’ve heard on Chevy’s they are going to send them out with heated seats that won’t work until a later date when more chips are available, doing away with some tech features all together for the current year and just overall disappointing stuff in general.

Sure is, but if it can be added later, that would be nice.....just probably a huge unknown at this time. Same with the cupholder lighting. That's gone in 22s as well. Seems like 2021 was the way to go....cheaper add on prices when building, better color options, and Digital readout w/ cup holder lighting!

I honestly thought we’d be post all of this now but I don’t think the end is in sight yet.

Photos to compare — are you sure the 2022 just isn’t turned on? They do appear to be different.

Yeah, I think you’re correct.

Well this is disappointing. I would think there would be some sort of notice about this instead of just doing it. I definitely expected to have the cup holder lights. It seems like a minor thing but I’ve always considered the ambient lighting a nice premium feature that sets these trucks (f150’s) apart. It was already disappointing that they did away with the different color options for the lighting a few years ago.

Agreed. Would have been nice to know these things.
Is it just the knobs and the cup holder lights that are gone? Do we know if there are other items that disappeared for 2022?

I'd probably rather have the digital display on the knobs but at the end of the day it really isn't a big deal (at least in my opinion). I do understand though how it's kind of crappy to lose things in newer vehicles.

Another 2022 Tremor walk-around video. This one doesn’t have the knobs or cup holder lighting either. It also doesn’t appear to have a light in the center console. Do the 2021s have this?

There are small touches that seem to be missing in the 2022 models that are really nice to have. I just looked at the video the dealership sent me on my 2021 im picking ip on the Dec 28th and appears to have lighting in the centre console. I will confirm once I pick it up

I'm hoping that the connections are still there and it will be as simple as plugging in lights and switching the ac knobs. I'll have the next 3 months to figure something out.

I did notice that when he turned it on the option popped up for you to be able to return to whatever drive mode you were in prior to turning the vehicle off (it said "return to slippery"). That's a nice touch if that's the case. In my current Expedition it's kind of annoying having to change the drive mode selector every time I get back into the vehicle and start it up.

I currently have a 2021 lariat (until next week when i get my tremor) but it has that option and its great!
