2022 Tremor order confirmed

Welp, looks like the 2022 books are definitely opened for the F150. No VIN yet, but I transferred my 2021 order to a 2022 and got a confirmation letter from Ford today. I know its not much but it actually feels like progress!

Looks like MSRP is up about $500 from the 2021 based on the increase in price for the base truck.
The 402A is a little cheaper along with a few other upgrades that dropped slightly in price.
The wireless charging pad is now in the 402A kit as well. I don think that was available before.

Congrats!

I wish I had the wireless charger.

I read somewhere that the 2022 models will be going up about 10% — $5000 more on a midline truck. I understand those with 2021 orders being updated to 2022 will not see a price increase. Is that what you’re seeing?

Thanks!
And I know the charging pad is just a little detail, but I am stoked they opted to include it in the 2022. It was one of those little things that I thought was cool on the Lariat that I was going to miss on the Tremor. Not a deal breaker by any means...
I have not heard about the 10% increase, but I can tell you that the base on the 2021 was $49505 while the base on the 2022 is $49855. While most of my upgrades were the same cost as what they were in 2021 the 402 A increased about $150 and the work surface increased about 30 bucks.
Not too happy about the price increase but they got me over a barrel either way really. I kind of expected it. :/

I just placed an order for my 2022 (Oct 22nd), and it appears on my particular build the price difference was about $800.00 from the pricing on a 2021.

Yeah, definitely more expensive this year. I would normally be upset at something like this but since they are already f@$#*ng me so hard by charging me MSRP I'm just trying to just ignore it. *Sigh

Which items are increased on your invoice?

So... It looks like base MSRP went from $49,505 to $49,855; 402A High package went from $13,445 to $13,590; and then a few dollars here and there for everything else. The price increase from 2021 to 2022 is relatively tame considering the current market, and it's in line w/increases from previous years.

That being said, what some dealers are doing at their level w/market adjustment pricing, etc. is another story. I been researching for a couple of months now and was fortunate to find a dealer less than 100 miles from me that would honor X-Plan pricing on an order thanks to a guy on the SuperDuty Forum. So, I'm just under $5,000 below MSRP for my build.

Up until about 2-3 weeks ago, I was going to order from Granger and pay the $2,000 transport fee. Most of our local dealers are doing a Market Adjustment increase of $3k-$5k over MSRP. I refuse to pay that or do business w/a dealer that wants to operate w/that philosophy. The only way for us to get these prices back down is to hold our ground and to only give our business to dealers that take care of us. Besides we (Tremor clients) are already being excluded from other Ford incentives such as bonus cash and financing specials (like they do w/Raptor and other limited availability vehicles).

Glad you were able to get it with X-Plan -- that is some considerable savings! It's hard not to play ball in this kind of market. When I bought mine, it felt weird negotiating against markup, but I was able to get it to just 1K over and had them throw in a premium Linex bed spray, so I considered myself relatively lucky.

The good news is, if you are trading up or selling an older vehicle, it's worth a lot more than usual. I sold my 2008 Pathfinder for almost double what I was able to get last year, so that definitely helped offset some of the new cost.

Thank you... 1k over definitely isn't bad considering, especially if you acquired that off current inventory. 95% of our local dealers wouldn't even come close to that for anything in inventory. I think 5k over MSRP was the best I saw in my area. That's awesome that you turned your other vehicle for a higher margin, that definitely does help a lot. Heck, at least you are driving a new vehicle. I may not even see mine for 4 or 5 months.

I'm sure you already posted this somewhere, but what color and package/add ons did you end up with, and how do you like it so far?

Definitely love it. My first truck ever and it's so darn gorgeous. Even compared to the new Tundra and GMCs, I can't help but love the simplicity of the truck. Tundra is too radical looking, and GMC's grille is just a little too much. Everything from front, back, and inside just flows so well.

Here's my photo/intro thread. You'll love it!

Thank you for sharing. That looks awesome. My wife and I got to drive one a few weeks ago, and she it was the first truck she drove that didn't feel overwhelming to her. A thumbs up from the wife always makes spending that much money easier. :) Again, congrats on your purchase and hopefully I'll be able to share mine in the near or not so near future.

Yep, same situation with wife. Once she was convinced we needed it (I hate borrowing other ppl truck) the search was on. I was pretty set on getting the Maverick but after sitting in the new Frontier, it was way underwhelming and the Maverick was even smaller.

I had no plans on another large vehicle like the F150 since we had a 2020 Expy already, but when we sat in a Lariat we fell in love. We looked at other brands and I considered waiting for the Tundra, but we already loved our Expy, the F150 just made sense. So we ordered a Lariat at the time because Ford was promoting online orders with a 1K incentive and 72 mo zero percent. Weeks later, I wanted to show my mom what we got and stopped by a dealer to check what they had. And there it was, a spanking brand new Tremor which I didn't even know exist. Mom said get this one instead, and you know, you have to listen to MOM...haha.

The looks were amazing, and i must say with tremendous bias, the best looking F-series truck so far. Yes, even more so than the Raptor. Have I got you excited yet? 😁

Hi, I figured this was as good a place as any to put in my first post.
Just put in my order for a 2022 Tremor. I really wanted Velocity Blue or Leadfoot, but had to settle for Atlas Blue because of the changes for 2022. Dealer is giving me x-plan pricing on my truck when it comes in, so that is good as it will save me about 5k off msrp. Msrp on mine only came in $495 more than when I optioned it out on the Ford website (as a 2021), so not too bad. Now I just get to wait...
