We all know about the 2023 V8 engine, but are there any other significant changes to the 2023 model? I don't care about new colors and aesthetic stuff. I'm talking about material changes to things related to operating the truck. For example, I heard that Google is eventually taking over the dashboard and primary display...any truth to that? Will the 2023 models have Google as the platform software?

With 6 months waiting since my order date and the value of my Raptor falling daily, I'm not seeing much reason to purchase the truck I ordered whenever it finally arrives. If there are enough reasons to wait for the market to normalize and get a 2023 with improved features, I will. But I don't see much about the 2023 other than the V8 engine.

If it were me id keep the raptor. New raptors are 30k more than when you bought yours (assuming it's a few years old)

I'm not sure I would even want the new Google interface, i use apple phones anyway.

Its a dumb gripe, and not really functional, but I really want all the ambient lighting to come back in the 402a's for 23.
Don't really care about google either - just please Ford, don't force a paid subscription to use basic screen features like GM is doing

Agreed on the ambient lighting, I'll probably add that as a mod to my truck which is a hassle we shouldn't have to do after market.

Not clear the 23s will include the ambient lighting though, supply chain and chip shortage is still screwed. If china takes Taiwan chip shortage will continue for a another decade.

My mindset recently is, if I want it, I better get it now before I can't anymore.

400A is gone for 23 making the entry price higher. Google is coming. Long McArthur Ford weekly video talked about it on Tuesday. Looks like for 24 model year.

The ambient lighting issue is a real thorn in my side. I ordered the cupholder and media bin light for $67 with shipping. Was going to get the door bin lights too. They are about $62 x 4. I don't have my truck yet, so don't want to get in deep just in case.

Also likely a mod I will do. I find it rather silly I order a $76k dollar truck just to not have ambient lighting.

Only reason I havent ordered these yet myself. If I had to bet, I would go with the 23's NOT getting that lighting back. Unfortunately we wont know until a 23 gets built. No one knew it was going away in 22's until they hit the lots.

Hi Gang, I went yesterday to order my Tremor, I was a little taken back by the fact that the 402a package brings with it the Raptor Transfer Case for'23. That means it's in full time AWD, you can lock it into 4wd hi and 4wd low but no 2wd! I'm not too excited about that to be honest. Anyone with insight on this transfer case or have run it?

The raptor transfer case is on the 402a packages for '21 and '22 as well. It gives the option for 4A (still have 2wd option).

Thanks Pierless, I appreciate the clarification.

I have 22 402a and have ambient lighting. In the front foot wells, upper door pockets, and such. Just no cup holders, which does suck.

Looks like you just received your truck on 8/9, im hoping that means they have started adding it back into the trucks! (at least most of the lighting)

I didnt think that the foot wells and upper door pockets ever got deleted. It was the cup holders, glove box, bin in front of cupholder and lower door pockets, so I dont think anything has been added back yet.
