2023 F150 Tremor Driver Seat Issues

Like others have mentioned they are either having issues with their drivers seat cushion being crooked or the seat shifts left to right making a clunking type noise. Mine is still under warranty and will take it in soon. But before taking it in I did my own investigation. It appears there is movement side to side in the front bar under the front of the seat. Looks like a 1/2" galvanized bar. When you grab the seat and push side to side you can see there's about an 1/8 in of slop from the brackets to the side of the seat frame. I took the cushion off thinking I might be able to torque the bolts a little more however, the brackets I believe are not designed to clamp the seat in place. I wouldn't waste your time taken the seat cushion off. It can be a little tricky to get back on if you don't know what your doing and I couldn't find a solution.

A quick fix, was to tie a piece of wire between the seat frame and the bracket around the bar. See picture. This is located directly below and under the front left corner of the seat as if you are sitting in it. I used speaker wire as it had a thicker coating and would absorb the movement. Movement is gone and cushion remains straight.

I do not know what the dealer will do. There doesn't appear to be an actual adjustment. I would suspect they need to replace all or part of the frame. If anyone knows the proper fix please let me know.

Im having this exact same issue with my 2022 F150 Tremor 401A. When I sit in the seat centered on the steering wheel, my left leg is on top of the left cushion almost falling off the seat. I've brought it in to Ford and they say they need to compare it to other ones, so im going to take a tape measure and see if mine is different from other Tremors.

This issue sucks because I love the truck otherwise, but its hard to ignore when you are in the seat for extended periods of time.

I'm curious if anyone else come up with any solutions to this problem?

My seat shifts left to right as well while turning. It scared me a few times but I'm used to it now. But I'll def be implementing the speaker wire fix lol. Maybe a zip tie or even some galvanized wire would be a better solution that won't loosen up over time?

Yeah, I agree a zip tie or hose clamp might be a better solution. My fix was met to be temporary, I'm taking the truck in next week for the seat issue and an IWE making noise. Let you know what Ford says/does.

Welp, I took it to the dealer. They claim this movement is normal and compared it to other trucks on the lot. Total BS but not worth my time to fight. I ended up using a hose clamp to fix myself.
