2024 f150 tremor transmission skid plate

Hello all, I am posting this because I wanted to confirm fitment of the raptor transmission skid plate on the 2024 tremor model year. Also wanted to point out that if you don't have the fiber cover like I didn't. You would need two sets of the oil cover bolts and u-nuts to be able to bolt the transmission skid plate to the engine skid plate. Mine did not have any bolts and u-nuts. I used the oil cover sets, and will order some for the oil change cover plate later. I will also post the link to the threads that covered the part numbers already

Just got an email from Tasca saying HL3Z-7222-C was replaced by HL3Z-7222-E. Any idea if there is any difference? Yes this is correct 7222-E replaced part # 7222-C - I was at my Ford Dealership yesterday and he could not locate the 7222-C as no longer available - So my dealer can get for me...

Transmission Skid Plate

Is it worth mounting the transmission skid plate to help protect catalytic converters or have the thieves stopped targeting them?

I'm new to Tremors and have a 2023. Next summer the truck's gonna get full on challenged during a long trip into AK pulling a small overland trailer. I think I need a trans skid plate (if I don't have one and I haven't yet looked after reading this post). For purposes of trans skid plates are 2023 and 2024 Tremors the same? Like OP, do I also "need two sets of the oil cover bolts and u-nuts to be able to bolt the transmission skid plate to the engine skid plate"? Thanks

I have a 22 but as far as i know the 24 is just cosmetic updates, the chassis and transmission are the same so i would imagine they still use the same trans skid plate.

I have a ‘23 and added the Raptor Skid plate to my truck. Fits like a glove and also ordered the Frame Clips and mounting bolts from Ford. Used clips & bolts I got locally for attachment to the front skid plate.
There are some Ford Dealers out there that have pretty good deals on parts, so it definitely pays to shop around.
There are several threads on this Forum with references & part numbers.

The oil cover plate u nuts and bolts were the perfect size. So for the sake of not struggling to find other part numbers. I just used those. But if you have the fiber board, that mounts to the rear of the engine plate. So nothing is needed if so.

Just looked and see that my trans is just hanging there fully exposed (23 Tremor w/ 3.5 EN and 402A). Not even a useless fiber thing. I'll do the whole set real soon.

Same exact year and package here. I did install the raptor skid plate. Very easy install.
