Looking for the Power Leads to Aux Switches to add power accessories?

First you have to find the Aux Switch Power Wires. (they are actually hidden) Remove the Battery and Battery Box. The Bundle with the Red Tape has the Power Wires.

The process has begun on the exterior.

PPF, Paint Correction with Ceramic Coat and Window Tint has been completed.

The Paint Protection Film (PPF) adds great paint protection while being almost invisible. The Rocker Panels have the PPF up to the mid body line. While they do help with rock protection on the body itself, I don't care for the factory steps AT ALL so they will be replaced with retractable AMP Power Steps. The factory steps are too high for me and I have to duck my head and shoulders to get in the vehicle. The AMP steps will be lower, and easier to use when deployed, and then tuck up nice out of the way when the door closes.

I had Ceramic Window Tint installed for heat reduction especially here in Florida. Xpel 70% on the windshield. This is almost clear but has very good heat reduction. 45% on the Front Door Windows. Others may like darker than this on the front, but it makes it very hard to see out the side at night. 30% on the Rear Door Windows and Back Glass. This is almost privacy glass in addition to the factory tint.

The Paint Correction and Ceramic Coat makes the truck's paint buttery smooth and added protection from the elements. No waxing this truck and water beads right off of it.

A few Husky Liners items have arrived and are installed. I highly recommend these.

Rear Wheel Well Liners - (Husky - 79161) These were Very easy to install and actually almost snapped into place once you pushed them inside the fender. Hardware is present to make them stay put. Less than 5 minutes install time for each side.

Floor Mats - (HUL53468) These are an exact fit and have great coverage. Although not bad, I don't care for the "Husky" logo though.

Rear - One Piece - All the way across the front of Rear Bench. Optional with Rear Bench Storage Included.

How are the nubs on back of your passenger-side front mat? I ordered a full set, and the rear mat and driver-side front mat were fine. But the nubs on the passenger-side front mat were short and rounded, not sharp enough to engage with the carpet--so the mat slides all over the floorboard. Husky has sent two replacements but nubs on both were malformed the same. They've agreed to send a third.

The passenger side Floor Mat does not slide around and stays put.

On to the Engine compartment.

UPR Catch Can / Oil Separator has been installed. (UPR-5030-269-1CSS) The Coyote has been known to produce a lot of blow-by, so catching any oil before it gets to the intake is always a good thing.

K&N Cold Air Intake has been installed. (K&N 30-2616) I was expecting some extra noise from the engine compartment, but not much different at all. The intake is a pretty straight forward install and everything fit as it should with no issues. Much cleaner look than stock too.

I like the look of the truck with the Factory Side Boards / Steps removed much better.

I have PPF on the rockers and I did add Husky Mud Guards Front and Rear. (Husky - 58526) We'll see if they stay when the AMP Steps and larger tires and wheels are installed?

I got the Toyo tires and Method wheels mounted and balanced.

Here they are ready to go. (leaning against the factory tires and wheels) They will be installed in a couple weeks along with the Icon Suspension.

RCI Skid Plates are installed. Factory Front Skid Plate back from Halo.

Pretty straight forward install, even though these were installed while the truck was on the ground. No lift at my shop.

Everything fit as it should with no issues. These skid plates are much beefier than the stock and provide much greater coverage and protection. I'm Not a Rock Crawler but the extra protection from whatever is a plus.

Those wheels are going to look clean.

Working on the list of parts from Post #1 that have been delivered.

I'll install the Tow Mirrors today.

Suspension and Side Steps will be installed this coming week. Then I will install the new Tires and Wheels.

The Method 703s in the Machined Clear Coat are my favorite wheels.

I'm not a big fan of Black wheels. (Although I have them on my F350 Tremor) You can't really see the details of a Black wheel and it seems every other truck has them.

I installed the Ford OEM Tow Mirrors this morning. (All Power, Chrome Caps) These were pretty easy to install. 4 Bolts on each mirror, unplug wire harness and camera, then install new and reassemble. Everything fit as it should with no issues.

I took my time and it was about 20 minutes per side. The hardest part was carefully swapping out the Chrome Caps for the Black ones I purchased separately.

Everything works except the Wide / Narrow Button (included with mirror purchase) which needs to be programmed.

Update: On my 2024 there is No Wiring present for this extra switch. Once programmed everything else will work except the Wide / Narrow option. Kind of a bummer, but at least I can see behind me a hell of a lot better with these mirrors installed.

Mirrors - Ford OEM ML3Z-17696-DA
Black Caps - HC3Z-17D742-AA, HC3Z-17D743-AA
