I'll be the first to admit. I bought the truck for its looks and really never plan to go off-roading. It's nice to have 4WD for emergencies, but besides a few snow events here or there, I'm barely going to use it...but I still want to maintain it. I've searched around, but things seem to be different for each manufacturer. Our Ford manual isn't clear about any specific routine either, so what would be a good one to test things out, or is that even necessary?

Thanks in advance.

My guess is your dif fluids are 50k miles

Definitely will be changing oil for diff and transfer case, but if 4WD is not enabled, what happens to that oil sitting in the front diff? I guess that's the crux of my concern.

you're ok. if you're driving, everything is moving.

My manual says the diffs, transfer case, and trans don't need to be changed until 150,000. That said, I'm doing mine at the 60,000 intervals.
