Ordered 2022 F150 Tremor
Recently had a shop install a set of Fox 2.0 snap rings shocks using my springs to level my 2022 F150 Tremor 402a. Hit some rain today and went to switch modes from normal to slippery. While transferring to 4H, a wrench illuminated in the bottom corner of the gauges and got a “check 4x4, Service soon.” Then if I tried switching modes I get “modes not available.” If I put it back in 2H all the messages and wrench goes away. I get the messages and wrench if I also switch from 2H to 4A/4H without using the modes dial. Checked the wiring and nothing pinched, broken, or disconnected. Also checked the vac lines and nothing pinched, no holes, no kinks, or disconnections. Any ideas?

Possibly an axle popped out or is not seated properly from install?

I thought about that also. Both CV’s appear to be at the same angle and without any apparent sloppiness. But still could be a strong possibility. I dropped it at Ford this morning so we’ll shall see what the come up with.

Following as well. Once or twice over my 3 years of ownership I've got the modes not available when trying to select. Went away and never came back.

The occasional mode issue is probably due to the transfer case shift motor not engaging/synching correctly at that moment.

Per my service advisor it’s all due to the left front IWE failing. Will be replaced under warranty. No wiring or vac issues found.
I just got both my IWE's replaced under warranty on my '24
