Hey guys. Figured someone would know the answer to this. I’m wanting to put one of the Ford Performance rear diff covers on my truck but it says (for 9.75 only) online. I had the same diff cover on my Raptor and I know that was 9.75 but not sure on this Tremor model? It’s my understanding that the 3.73 gears have the 9.75 but I read some contradicting info on that.

Thanks.

The 3.31, 3.55, and 3.73 all come in 8.8 and 9.75, so that's never been a good way to be sure. Pretty sure it was understood that the EB always got the 9.75 because of the torque. Either way, just so you can know, the shape is very easy to tell.

The 8.8 looks like this with 10 bolts:

And the 9.75 like this with 12 bolts:
Ford 9.75 inch differential bolt pattern

It can only be one of those two.

TL;DR: You've got a 9.75.

Truly appreciate the info brother. Thank you!
