Access Tailgate does open?

I have a 2025 402a with the access tailgate. It’s neat but I can’t get it to open most of the time. I press the button to open the whole tail gate and it opens and closes fine. I press the button for the access door part and nothing most of the time. The few times it works I have no idea why it did vs when it doesn’t. Anyone else have this issue or am I a nitwit doing something wrong? Thanks!

Doesn't open or doesn't unlock? The PAT doesn't swing out when you push the button, it just unlocks and you have to pull it open. I haven't had any issues with mine.

It does open. I’m assuming it’s unlocked. I just went out and tried it. I unlocked the truck with the key fob. Then I pressed the button and pulled on it and nothing.

Sorry, didn't mean you had to unlock the truck. You should be able to just push the button and pull it open (truck locked or unlocked - doesn't matter). If that's not happening, I'd take it in to the dealer.

I will look and see. That would be great if it’s just a setting.

Dealer let me know that when the lock and or bed liner was done someone didn’t plug it in all the way. Now it works
