Anybody know if it is possible to ad the front parking sensors of they are not originaly on the car ? I have a 401a and it realy bugs me .?Here in europe we have to buy whats imported by the dealers and available . So i did not have a choise

The American 401A has front parking sensors, so it might be possible.
What I don’t get is why the 401a has them but the 402a doesn’t unless you get 360active 2.0.

Yet, every 2022 I’ve seen so far has them whether they have the active package or not.

I know on the last gen you could add the sensors and activate them through forescan. I assume you can with ours but I don’t know how much work it would be.

I have a 2022 401a - took delivery in July of 22 (here in America). I do NOT have front parking sensors. I do not think ALL 401a's have front parking sensors. Here is a snapshot of my window sticker:

I over generalized a little. But I do beleive I saw that the 401a with co-pilot 360 assist, includes front park sensors, but the 402a doesn’t. Which makes no sense to me.

Oh yeah, I have the Copilot 360 Assist on my 401, so that must be what you need. Some sort of Copilot 360.

Co-pilot 360 assist on the 402a doesn’t include front parking sensors.

My 402A has Co-Pilot 360 assist and front parking sensors
Unless you have the parking assist package, your front sensors are for the adaptive cruise control, which is what I think he is talking about. Yes they signal you when your close to something, but it doesn't allow the vehicle to self park like the actual parking sensors that comes as an optional package.

Same here. 401A and I don’t have front “proximity sensors” unlike in the back which does comes with sensors. Mine is a 22 401A. I just use my 360 cameras so I’m ok with it.

My 402A has Co-Pilot 360 and Front parking sensors as well. When I replaced my front bumper, I noticed the wiring harness for the sensors has the plugs for the 2 additional sensors that are included with bluecruise. It looks like I could probably add them in and find a way to activate them with forscan. Now if your truck doesn't have them at all, your harness may not have the plugs. Does your truck have fog lights? That's about the only reason I can think of the bumper still needing to have a wire harness at that point.

Per the owners manual, only the radar sensor and camera are used for adaptive cruise control. The radar unit is not visible and is behind the bumper.

Not disagreeing with that, but when you buy the adaptive cruise control relocation kit it also involves the little sensors in your bumper, not just the sensor behind the right pad.

I’m saying I have no front sensors at all. And I have a 402a with 360 assist.

I don't know what to say to that, I have the 360 assist and mine has them, I've even seen a base model xl work truck with them. That is not right if you don't have them, heck even my 2017 had them. Now if your talking the self parking then that is a separate package altogether, but your truck should have the sensors that warn when your too close to something.
