I like it, it’s subtle but stylish and goes with my AVS front black plastic molded front marker light.

I had a tint kit left over from my 4-runner that I never ended up using to tint the back roof cab light white sides only. I think it looks cleaner and blends in with roof spoiler.

What does it do?

Because that is a type of plastic you should use an adhesion promoter before it's painted.
I think you misunderstood , I was referring to the brake light which I tinted just below the roof top spoiler. Not that the spoiler was tinted

I was talking about if you paint the spoiler to match your truck, You should use a adhesion promoter to help the paint stick better.

There's a company called Sportwing that sells a paint match option. The price is a bit steep at $349, but it's an option for those willing to spend. They also have matte black at about $150. I had I believe was an AVS brand on the 18 Raptor I used to have. Will probably buy for the Tremor if I ever get it.
