Purchased the Air Lift Load Lifter 5000, part number 57355 as their website states that it works with a '23 F150 non-powerboost, and I had read others have installed it even with the rear headlight sensor adjust arm. Ran in to 2 issues. The first being that I would have to make cuts to both the bracket for the headlight arm (not a big deal), and a notch in the bracket for the air bag so that the arm could still move (I think that I wouldnt have to take too much off so I could make this work).
The other issue though that I cant get around is apparently there was a change since Air Lift out together their install instructions where there is now a backet on the inside of the driver side frame that prevents the ubolt from mounting, and this bracket is not something that can be moved or modified. Has anyone successfully installed this kit on a '23 402a, and did you just not use that ubolt? Tried to contact Air Lift but they are not open on Sat and when I try to send them an email through their website it just gives me phone numbers to call (despite clicking on the email us link).
Or, has someone used a different air bag kit with a '23 402a. I generally go with the Firestone Ride Rite kit, but theirs specifically states that it does not work with the headlight sensor arms on the rear. Another option I guess could be to remove that sensor, since with air bags I shouldnt really be changing the height up front and need the headlights to adjust. Has anyone done that?
