2022 f150 tremor
I just picked up my brand new tremor last night. 402a. I noticed in the cubby where the wireless charger is I don’t have any ambient lighting in there, nor do I in the cup holders.

I believe there is supposed to be lighting in that cubby, correct?

To my knowledge, a few different ambient lighting sections were removed for 2022+.

Huge bummer. So dumb. I loved those in my 2020 raptor.

About the halogen bulbs, I came from a 2021 tundra. Literally every lighting in that truck besides the head lights was halogen lol, so I’m not worried about the license plate.

Anyone have a recommendation on bulbs to swap em with?

You can add them (+glove box) back for ~$150 and a little disassembly.

Sylvania Zevo bulbs is what Ford uses in other locations of the truck…this is per Sylvania and are an exact match. I used these for my license plate bulbs.

I also added the media bin, cupholder, glove box and bottom door tray ambient lighting that was removed in 2022. It was not difficult but cost me approximately $450 to add all in the end. I also purchased the climate control unit so I have the digital temperature knobs…I will add it this week.

I bought all of those except the climate control assy, but havn't had the nerve to start prying things apart. I've seen lots of info on the cup holder and media bin install, but not enough on the door lighting to feel comfortable yet.

I put these in the license plate lights, they look/work great as well! Diode Dynamics (I heard about them on this forum)

Is this a 2023? My 2022 has ambient lighting in the wireless charger cubby but not the cup holders. The cup holder ambient lighting was deleted starting with the 2022 models.

Intresting! I'll verify but I don't believe I have any lighting in the charger cubby, cup holders or the glove box!! You got lucky on the charge cubby sir!!

I just picked up the climate control module with digital read out. Hoping to install once it warms up a bit 🥶

Nice!! Keep me posted on that I may be intrested!

Mine was missing the cool kids lighting. I added it in. Now I’m just… ummm… screw it I don’t have anything to add.
You need to add the temp gauge read out to be cool. Without it you might as well be driving a pre 2015 XLT.
