Amber Daytime Running Lights — Looks Pretty Extreme

I think amber DRLs would look pretty nice on a Tremor — like what the 2021 Raptor has. I don’t think you can modify the color in Forscan due to hardware restrictions. However I have found a mod to get it done — although I cringe at the thought of the install.

I believe the fog light install shows them baking the parts.

I did this way back in the day on my 2000 Honda S2000, we even had a custom batch of clear diffusers made in a group buy. I will never, ever bake open a headlight housing ever again....lol. Nor would I cut into one. Just not worth it. Wait for Morimoto to release a set.

All that said....can you just change the bulbs to amber?

Not sure — when I watched the video, it appears to be a led fixture with a separate control card. In the mod they swap out the control card to an RGB to get different colors — the light actually stays.

I hate to interfere with their $200 product... But I think you could do the exact same thing for $25.00 plus some sealant.

It looks like those wouldn’t be a continuous LED strip but the cheaper and older looking dotted LEDs.

Watching the video, it seems like they just replaced the controller, not the LEDs... but I am not sure.
