Any new updates on the new 2021 Ford F150 Tremor?
As I understand it, the Torsens are available, now. He could be right for the overall build and order process though. People would likely flip out if they needed to reorder for '22 and get rescheduled.Tomorrow is August. I stopped in to see my dealer a few weeks ago. He recommended I wait to order. He said he would gladly take an order but felt a 2021 was not going to work. He said I would just have to reorder for 2022. From what I've been reading the Torsen still isn't available. IMO that's one of the best options for a Tremor. Maybe we might see a few more color options for 2022. Fingers crossed
I don't know what to believe anymore when to comes to auto manufacturing. I still can't find a Tremor in my area to look at. The Raptor guys are seeing delays as well. Many of their orders are being pushed back. I'm 57 years old. I never thought I would live long enough to see this country this messed up.As I understand it, the Torsens are available, now. That's the shame of it all. Years ago if you needed a truck you could just order it and in about 8 weeks have it. I remember ordering my last truck and my dealer asking me if I'm I sure I wanted to wait 6 to 8 weeks. Now it could be 6 to 8 months. I never use to worry about my truck getting stolen or totaled out. I would just order another one. That's not the case anymore. I'm being very careful now where I park and letting my kids use it. The Roush and the Shelby's are really nice. If I was retired and didn't need it as a daily driver I think a Shelby would be the one.James Dean, I’m seriously considering looking at other options. Perhaps a Roush, perhaps a Rocky Ridge. They’re available now and I needed a truck last month.
Shelbys are very nice, perhaps overkill for what I need. Ricart Ford in Columbus has a bunch of Roush and Rocky Ridge DISCOUNTED right now. Not a tremor, only a XTL 302A, but are available now. That's the shame of it all. Years ago if you needed a truck you could just order it and in about 8 weeks have it. Hello, brand new to this forum. I submitted an order here in PHX yesterday that was quoted as a 15-16 week lead time. I'm friendly with dealer and he said its been pretty clockwork on that time line. I have not received my confirmation email from Ford but he mentioned that it would be 1-2 days then intermittent emails on build start and progress. Selling 2011 F150 XLT to move in to this 2021 Tremor so very excited.
Congratulations! Looks fantastic!Well the wait is over. Picked up my new Tremor on Saturday. Flew to Vegas in the morning and was home for dinner. There was a couple people at the dealership trying to buy my truck when I got there. Thankfully my salesman hid the truck in the back. I’m glad I had put a deposit down a month ago. My first observation was that this truck rides butter smooth and handles great. Of course it has the eco boost balls. This truck rides smoother than my Gen II Raptor on the road. Haven’t had it in the dirt yet. Well worth the wait.
You're making me feel better about my move. Can't wait to feel the comparison against the Gen 2 Raptor for myself.Well the wait is over. Picked up my new Tremor on Saturday. I would have to think the Raptor feels better on the spine but a little weight on the Tremor should help smothe it out nicelyYou're making me feel better about my move. Can't wait to feel the comparison against the Gen 2 Raptor for myself.
Yes, I'm really looking forward to getting some nice progressive springs too.I would have to think the Raptor feels better on the spine but a little weight on the Tremor should help smothe it out nicely
I'm sending an email to Torsion and G2 to see if they want to enter the F150 front anti roll bar race. Imagine a lockable/unlockable front sway bar on this truck.Yes, I'm really looking forward to getting some nice progressive springs too.
Basically a trail version of the Raptor. I'm in.I'm sending an email to Torsion and G2 to see if they want to enter the F150 front anti roll bar race. Imagine a lockable/unlockable front sway bar on this truck.
Someone tie a rope to my ankle, I'm going down another rabbit hole...
35s, 4.10 gears, front unlockable sway bar, 5 link rear, level +2" full lift, winch and sliders. Ford may as well just pay me for my name, now.
Coming next year, the Ford Yeti.
Take my deposit now please.Basically a trail version of the Raptor. I'm in.
