This is left rear (drivers side) rubber hose.

Man, there is another thread on here somewhere that talks about a dangling hose in the same spot. Seems maybe it was supposed to be clipped up higher on one of the pinch welds or something. Might be for a diff breather / axle vent tube.
Wish I could link that thread but I can’t find it.

Thanks there is some kind of filter looking thing attached to the exhaust in that area but it has no attachment point that I can find … the clip to hold the hose on is a long way from the end of the hose .. so I wonder if it ever was attached

Mine was up in the frame tube. It is now in the bed stake poket
