When I ordered my Tremor the option to remove the auto start stop wasn't available on the Ford builder. Now on the Ford vehicle tracker under accessories it is showing "auto start-stop removal." Hopefully that's the case as I was planning on buying the disabler switch.

Subbed. I have been wondering the same thing.

As long as you have NOT gotten a VIN number you can add that option. I learned about it two days after I got my VIN. My wife’s Subaru has saved a whole 1.5 gal in 25,000 miles driven. The only other problem with the Subaru is every time I get out of it I have this desire to go hug a tree- weird!

I've had my VIN since December. Maybe they are doing it as a chip saving measure. If it's gone I'll be happy if not I'll just buy the switch to disable it. I'm just happy that my build date hasn't been pushed back again.

Mine shows the same thing and I didn’t option to have it removed. It’s supposed to go in to production the 3/14, so hopefully get the window sticker to actually see if it has it or not. I did go in cars.com and look at some for sale and 99% of them had auto start/stop removed, but I was able to find one 22 that still had it. So not sure if after a certain date they are just automatically removing it or not.

Same build date for me as well. If it gets the truck built sooner then I'm all for it.

My build week is 3/21. No window sticker but my order confirmation page also shows auto start stop removal and I did not select it on my order.

I was told when I bought mine that Ford had stopped the auto start stop due to issues it was causing, not sure what issues but I didn't want it anyway because of various issues I know it can cause and I suspect that's why they stopped it.

Contacted my dealer to have start stop removed and they did so as my VIN has yet to be generated. The price on the vehicle dropped from the initial build sheet by 2k and I have yet to have my x plan factored in. Some highlights on the sheet, job two, twin panel roof price removed (-$1495) and trailer tow price dropped to $295.

Edit: The X Plan build and price is now updated and with current options listed below and destination it appears price will be $68,912. Not a bad savings ($6038) when paying for the MCA membership of $70. That is, if the X Plan pricing in the build and price holds true and this is the exact reason I went with a Tremor over a Raptor, I cannot justify the price difference.

In another thread a member talked about all the problems it caused but when asked about it he said it was "common sense." I don't mind it at all on my Tremor but if it really does create issues I'd like to know about them and I'll disable it. I have seen a lot of threads complaining about it but not one about issues it actually caused. I know that that there are theories about the strain on the starter and engine but has anyone actually had those issues with a Tremor or any other auto start/stop vehicle?

My order doesn't say which Job and I've heard a bunch about "Job #2 Scheduling" starting on 3/21 (which is my current estimated build date). I did not get an e-mail from Ford Friday about another date push back so I'm hoping that just netted me one week closer to reality.

Also randomly... My order is showing 0$ for the co-pilot 360 active 2.0. So I'm hoping that is not a $2k increase when it comes in.

I have a build date of 3/14, hoping that sticks. When do window stickers normally populate?

I've read up to a week before the build starts. If you have been getting regular updates from ford about your order (some have, some haven't) if there was a delay by another week you would have gotten it Friday. VINs are assigned Thursdays, and then scheduling is handled on a Friday. At least, all of my production date changes have hit my inbox on a Friday at roughly 5:00.

I'd refresh your order on Friday and check the window sticker then.

I didn't get the dreaded Friday email last week so fingers crossed that my truck gets built next week. I keep spamming the status site hoping something new pops up.

I picked up a 2022 2 weeks +/- ago and the salesman told me that the Auto S/S was deleted due to the chip shortage. He was a salesman and thus not always the most informed but I bought it. Its a 90 second fix with FORScan anyway but I do like that the physical button with the LED is deleted as well; I am considering adding an ejector seat button in that spot in case the wife changes the radio station.

I'm not sure how this may affect your builds but (assuming the salesman was correct) in my mind if they didn't have the chips for mine then most likely the same would be true for yours

Figure out the ejection seat setup quick please! My wife is the world's worst with the radio. I just thank God she hasn't figured out it has memory seats yet otherwise she'd mess that up.

My wife screws up the memory seat function on every car. It's her special talent.

Window sticker confirms that the auto start-stop feature has been removed!
