I assumed it was largely overblown. There were a couple YouTubers (TFL and Tim from Truck and SUV talk) who had early 21’s that had some pretty bad rust right away. Glad they sorted that out.
Nope, was one of first things I checked. It's properly coated now for all F150s now when I checked on them around Sept.

Dang, sorry to see that. A little baffled by Ford, and now wondering if this a seasonal thing and how it's getting stored. It looks like there's a coating but parts are still rusting. Wonder if the member who works at the Ford plant can clue us in.

Negative. Mine is a MY2022 Build with Axle rust showing when it showed up to dealer in California.
