Backup Camera

Here's one I haven't seen yet. I was sitting in traffic today and the backup camera came on and was beeping like I was about to hit something. It lasted for for about 3 seconds and stopped. I've never had that happen in any vehicle. Anyone else have this happen?

If I had to guess, the car behind you got too close and activated it. Just like when you're pulling into a space and the parking sensors activate and the camera comes up, but the result of someone being too close behind you.
