Bed Camera Resolution

I watched a video review of a 22 Tremor and one thing they pointed out was how terrible the resolution on the bed camera was. I'm curious if the 2021 model had a better camera or if it is the same. Also, what are the chances an aftermarket camera may come out that's a direct swap?

I’ve been trying to add a high resolution bed camera for months…wife keeps telling me no.
Clearly I have nothing of value to add here…still waiting on my truck.

I wasn't real pleased with those dudes on their review, I'm gonna wait and see how the camera looks when I get my truck. They also b!tched about the transmission lagging not knowing that there is a learning curve/break in period from what I'm reading. But it was a decent review I guess, can't wait for my truck! Lets hope the cam isn't bad!

I believe they were reviewing a tremor that gets passed around different media outlets for reviews. If so then it should have been broken in already.

This could be true sir! Hopefully the cam looks good, and the trans is good. My brother in laws seems to shift fine towing or not so we will see!

Honestly the trans issue could probably be fixed with a tune once they start coming out.

It's scheduled for production on the 16th. Hopefully it actually happens this time and doesn't get changed for the 5th time.

I'd say the resolution is slightly below 720p. Could be better, but still able to see everything visibly and it serves it's purpose.

The cam for the bed is the same as all Ford pickups, and if you have driven a Ram, then yes, the Ford's are lacking in resolution. At least Ford finally updated software from the early 21's so that you can view the bed cam while in motion. Since 2019 Ram has had waaaaay better cameras (and screens) and allowed those to be viewed while in motion.

I think that the bed cam is fine, but in this day and age it does feel like it is a let down. Havent seen where anyone has actually upgraded successfully.

How are the rest of the cameras? My wife 2021 Aviator cameras and screen look like 4K compared to my 19' Expy cameras. I am hoping the Gen14 trucks will look as good as her car. I did see a Superduty video and they complained the bed cam was just good enough to see if something blew out.
