Bed Rail Removal

Any good way to remove these rails so the spray in liner can under them?

Is this feasible? I don't want to break stuff in trying to remove these.

If your having line x or rhino linings do the spray they will remove everything, lights, pro power, tailgate piece and bed rails before they spray it, at least they are supposed to.

They didn't remove my bed rails when I had mine Line-X'ed. And I don't think I'd have wanted them to. If they oversprayed on top they will not fit correctly again. They did remove propower, all bolts, lights etc. though.

They pulled mine off to prevent over spray on them and they lightly coated up to just under the edge of them.

If they pull the rails off, will they do a thin coat over the edge to protect the metal under those rails?

Another issue is the foamish pieces of material between the bed and cab. Do you all remove those? From riding dirt bikes, any piece of something rubbing on anything else with fine dust will rub a hole in what you don't want rubbed in. I've seen stainless brake cables severed by plastic! Takes a few years but it will do it. Seems that paint behind the cab is toast in a couple if you don't cut that stuff out.

They just did a light coating on mine underneath the edges of the rail cap. As for the rubber and foam between the bed and cab, they use that to improve aerodynamics and to aid in noise reduction.
