So after having gone to Costco 2 times using the Ford OEM bed divider which provides a very limited amount of space to prevent things from sliding in the bed I said I have to find a better solution.

I researched and came across the Bedslide company’s product which I felt was the best overall value, quality and design. After going to Costco last night and buying several cases of water, and 25 year storage meal containers for no particular reason I was extremely pleased with how much I fit and the ease of use.

I also bought an accessory piece that comes as a pair they are little side bins called mini kix and I ended up using them a little differently as I did not want to cut the side rails as the directions required since I like the length they provide and just didn’t like the idea of cutting up my $1,800 investment. They fit very snuggly past the rear wheel well and I use a strip of Velcro on a rised hump of the truck bed to prevent wiggling and it looks like a winner.

Pics below of Bedslide fully inserted in the truck, partially extended and fully extended along with side shot and mini kix.

I’ve had these and the decked system. I’d opt for a regular slid only bummer is you likely loose 1-2” of bed length if the item goes to the back. Great products though.

How are you liking this setup a year later?

Perfect timing. We just sold our old truck today. I had a homemade bed slide in it and my wife asked if I wanted to take it out and cut it down to fit the new truck. I told her I was thinking about ordering a Bed Slide instead. I think the 1000lb model is perfect for our needs too.

The install looks pretty easy. You have to mark and drill 4 holes, install rivnuts and then bolt the slide down.
