Make sure you try loosening the bolts and pushing the crash bars away from the tire. I gained about 1/4” clearance at both the front and rear crash bars. I stuck a flat head screwdriver in the gap while tightening back the bolts to make sure it stayed in place.

This was enough to eliminate my rub and you can see in the picture how much I was rubbing. Worth a shot before you go to cuttin!

You can also get these for the rear.

Also, instead of cutting the bars themselves, why not take out bottom bolts and just cut the tops off the bolts, then side the bars out?

If you needed to put them back on you could install bolts from bottom from the looks of it...

That'll work on the rears but not on the fronts. There is another bolt that would need to come out.

I want to keep the crash bars on the truck personally. The front ones have the nut welded on the bottom. Took me about 30sec of yanking in the key bar to figure that out.

Can't you unscrew them from the top and to get a sawzall in there to cut the head off?
