I’ve tried searching and can’t find any pictures of black lug nuts installed replacing the factory chrome.

Does anyone have any pics to share?

Thank you!

This was when I first got the truck, i had the black lugs waiting. Hated the chrome.

Those chrome lug nuts from the factory have a tin cover on them and from heating up and cooling off they expand and it gets hard to put a lug wrench on them

So. I went to the gorrilla website to get the right lugnuts. got the part number based on the vehicle and these things are tiny!!! 91148BC ..

Are you sure you got the correct ones?

Unless that’s a new design from Gorilla, I’ve never known them to be that small.

Take a look at these.

Yeah- after digging a little more- the ones everyone used prior to 2023 was the 61148BCX but those have been discontinued and most sets have been sold off on ebay.. The 61148FSBC is the new replacement and has a different length but would be much better than what I got.

I used the gorilla website, punched in 2021 Ford F150 and the only ones that came up were 91148 version for OEM wheels.. They do fit but the tapered seat is like half of the OEM stock. Leaves you with minimal confidence. I already reached out for an exchange request.

Appreciate the link!

You’re quite welcome.
Perhaps it’s some kind of patented design but what I find odd is that why can’t a company like Gorilla just make a lug nut that resembles the OEM lug nut every way shape and form except instead of a two piece design, make it a one piece design.

Gorilla...Love them.
