Blue Cruise without the Blue Cruise? Hack

Just saw this video, what are yall's thoughts? I of course don't have my truck so can't try this out.

I actually thought about this a few months ago while driving my dads 21 platinum. I don’t see why it wouldn’t work. The wheel just needs some slight resistance for it to think your hands are there.

Saw this on FB a while back. It took about five minutes for the Saftey Steves to come out and say how dangerous and irresponsible it is.
I don’t see the problem as long as you pay attention.
Also seen some use a water bottle stuffed in the wheel.

i did this from New England to Texas. Definitely not “auto pilot” and you have to be ready to take over but it’s fantastic! Definitely makes me wish I had blue cruise
