Seeing two Tremors on order at a local dealer, they have pretty much all the options I’d like, and a few additional ones, including BlueCruise for $2k. After reading more about it on fords website, seems gimmicky and not worth the cost. I don’t spend endless, mindless hours often on the road. Anyone love or hate this option?

That and the 2kw plug are the two options I wish weren’t on the truck (have Honda 2200 if I need tha kind of power), would drop $3k off the sticker.

BlueCruise is only going to get better and better. Right now its not much, but it does work on designated roads and it kinda cool to have. I feel it's better to have the hardware and hope for software updates that make it better than not having it. Resale value and demand will be greater than a truck without it. Just like the moon roof. I hate it, but it sells so much better with it. I would be interested to see if these ordered trucks even come ready and active for it with the current chip problems and Ford cutting features every week.

I find myself using it more and more, to the point now where it's basically daily. The above point is huge too, it is a game changer for resale/trade in value in the future. I said no, idw to use it, it's dumb, the whole 9 yards....I really enjoy it now lol

100% worth it. Just did 2500 miles from Miami to GA, in-between and back, also used it from Iowa to Miami when I bought the truck, Blue cruise was amazing.

Day to day in traffic it's great, total game changer. Makes you more aware too because you're just looking around and have more function while it's driving. It's very accurate, and once you get used to it, it really blows your mind.

In many ways, it's more safe than you are considering it works off sensors and not just visuals - it will stop for a car with broken/no brake lights better than you will.

As @Fozzy said I also agree about software updates and resale value. Easily the best option given it's cost and the free three years you get, and even after it's imo a negligible cost per year (~$600).

I love it for the added safety. It will alert you of inattentive driving. I have known a few that have had serious wrecks from dozing off. This feature will alert you and still keep you centered in the lane. The adaptive speed is great. It will keep you at a safe distance and maintain the lower speed until the vehicle can safely return to what you set it to.

Still haven't had the guts to let it park itself;)

Thanks everyone for the input! For $2k it felt like a gimmic and just adding to an already $70k truck. When I land a Tremor, I plan to own it for 10+ years, this seems to be a more relevant option for the long haul. And can hopefully help deal with crappy California traffic.
