Hi all,
My bluecruise suddenly stopped working after I got a notification that my vehicle went into deep sleep mode. It was at the retailers for 4 days getting a ceramic coat/window tint so I’m assuming I got that notification to preserve battery.
Long story short I picked it up and noticed that my blue cruise will engage but it’s not completely hands free. It’s constantly asking me to put my hands on the wheel. I get the smaller blue cruise “hands” inside the rpm meter but it doesn’t take over the screen like before if that makes sense.
I took it to the dealership today and they said Ford has a bulletin out for this but they have no idea when the OTA update will be pushed through to fix it. Any idea if this is true?? I know the Bluecruise issue can be a bear to deal with by the dealership and part of me feels like they are just punting me down the road hoping it resolves itself. Any advice?
Thanks,
Josh
