Maybe this is not a huge deal but once I noticed it, I can't not see it. My drivers door doesn't really line up with the front quarter panel or the rear leftside door. I mean I guess it's better than a mechanical problem but c'mon Ford. You build 1,000,000 of these a year, you can't make my $70,000+ truck panels line up?

They should be able to adjust that, but yea.. I worked in automotive manufacturing and that was a basic part of final quality checks for even economy cars.

I duplicated the thread on the 14thGen forum and tagged FoMoCo so maybe they will respond and I can get it corrected.

I thought the factory checked for things like that? If mine ever shows up, I will make sure I pick it up during the day so I can look for issues. I bought local so I can spend time being a pain in the ass since I do not need to hit the road.

Was the rear end and underneath rusty or clean when you picked up your truck?

Not a speck of rust anywhere fortunately

That is good to hear. I am on chip hold with a 10 Sept delivery ETA (lol)

What are your thoughts on the B&O Unleashed? I currently have the 19-Speaker Harman Kardon in my Jeep. I am hoping the B&O Unleashed is not a big down grade?

I would expect it not to be quite as good at the HK system, but I have thought the Unleashed is pretty good, better than some of the complaints I have heard on here anyway. It's a truck though, a vehicle is a terrible soundstage.

If they get the gaps lined up, Than it looks like the black and white will be off because they are even right now.

The moldings are in perfect alignment the doors don’t look like there’s not much there’s going to be able to do with the gap. It’s almost like the door on the right the frame is too small

Yea theres a big twist in my hood on the driver side. It is dipped and misaligned. Also so pretty shitty paint blemishes in same area. I bought out of state about 1.5 hours from me. My local dealers shrug their shoulders and say ford will tell them that it's a ford, not a Ferrari. Its mass produced, it cant be flawless everytime. Luckily for them I'm so damn busy with work, I dknt have the time to deal with it

Push it through and escalate it if you have to.

The door on my ‘22 F250 I had was misaligned from the factory also. Wouldn’t shut “easy “ like the other 3 doors.

Dealer told me to pound sand when I asked about fixing it.

Luckily I only had a paint scratch on my tremor that was “easier” to have repaired then panel issues.

Dealer fixed mine. Driver door was off. They had it fixed same day. Poor quality check.

I’m just playing, but your talking about the fender (I did auto appraisals for 8 years in a past life and you calling it a front quarter panel brought back ol memories of customers) but due to my past life I too notice almost everything not perfectly aligned, it’s a blessing and a curse cause like you said, it can’t be unseen! I’ve seen poor alignment on 100k Teslas, if that makes you feel any better?

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

From Wikipedia: A quarter panel (British English: rear wing) is the body panel (exterior surface) of an automobile between a rear door (or only door on each side for two-door models) and the trunk (boot) and typically wraps around the wheel well. The similar front section between the door and the hood (bonnet) is called a fender (front wing), and may sometimes also be referred to as a quarter panel.

Lol, yeah no one called it a quarter panel in the business in San Antonio anyway. It’s also not labeled quarter panel when you are looking to replace the item. From Ford or LKQ , keystone or any other aftermarket place. But I’m just playin around. It just took me back to a prior life thats all. It was fun times but not enough money and the insurance company that I worked for was getting real stingy and I’m glad I got out before shit hit the fan.
