What is considered high speeds?

hhhhmmmm.... anything above 143mph!?!? In all seriousness, I'd think exceeding certain RPMs would be less desirable than let's say driving over 75mph. But, who knows....

It's very vague

I’ll be driving 700 plus miles from Granger to Texas……hope I don’t have to go to slow!

It’s not all negative – at least there’s no need to wait for the engine to warm up. Lol

Same here... I'm going 1200 miles from Granger to Connecticut. That is what prompted me to look up the break in process.

Like the others, I would think your first tank at highway speeds and your second tank more casual stop and go/highway.
Since I'm only just above 600 for my trip from granger, I'll be taking the long way home then an oil change at 1k miles.

I’m in the same boat but have a 1,200 mile drive. Good news is it’ll be broke in by the time I get home

Just a thought, but during the break in period would it be best if you could vary your driving / speed. Not full WOT pulls but a good variation.

Also heat cycling (driving say it 50-100 miles then letting it cool down) a few times for the gears/etc?

Not saying that this is truly needed by any means. But wouldn’t that promote a better break in than just all highway miles?

I always wondered why these trucks didn't come with a turbo timer to allow the turbo to cool appropriately when you've shut the truck off.
