Build date accuracy

Forgive if thread already exists somewhere (I've found a few scattered posts), but does anyone care to comment on the accuracy of projected build dates? I received mine yesterday, and wondering if these tend to be pretty spot on, or do they have some wiggle room, and if so, how much, and typically skewed in which direction? Looking for comments from those who have already taken delivery, or even received notifications for blend date or ship date. Thanks!

My story is by far not the norm I'm seeing form other folks here (34 days from order to delivery to dealer). But when I received the 'build date' email was for the week of December 13, 2021. A few days later it was moved up to December 6, 2021 (I actually received that email on December 6- so I was psyched)... it arrived at the dealer December 27 (was emailed by Ford that it would deliver between Jan. 5 and Jan. 11)- I pick it up tomorrow (was away when it showed up and didn't know it had arrived until I called on Tuesday to inquire.

I never got word on when exactly my truck was physically built but I had a build date of 12/20 and everything has seemed to be running on the right timeline according to those dates. I was not disappointed at any point.

Mine was pretty accurate based on the original emails they sent, it did get pushed back 2 weeks from what they originally said but all in all pretty close. Delivery to dealer next week supposedly so still room for them to mess up but we'll see.

10/29 order, 12/15 build, 01/12-01/18 delivery expected. That's with the holidays inbetween too so not bad. Nothing like @Mama Tried blasting the pack but also not as bad as some guys that ordered in July and are still waiting. I think the '22s process was much better than the '21s.

I will say the tracker basically never worked for me and when it did it was a lightning, and I have never been able to see my window sticker.

My best luck was asking Granger and calling Ford directly for info.

It'll come as another email when its produced, and then when it's shipped.

I never got a delivery date, just the build date. I had to call the Ford hotline number from another forum post to get an update as to my delivery date as their system is completely screwed up. My VIN didn’t return any results.
