...Ok, had my truck on order for nearly 6 mo. BooHoo, I know.
Not where I'm going with this.
Anyone else concerned with possible build quality, part failure, or other issues that may come up when they finally get their brand new truck?
My son owns a shop that almost exclusively works on Fords. He is so disappointed in part QC that he has to warrantee a high percentage of new Ford replacement parts. He's losing money every time a customer comes back in because of a part failure!
These are parts sold mostly through Ford themselves and those are when he can find new parts. He has three junk yards on speed dial and many times he's getting customers that can't even have their older trucks fixed because he can't get the part for months and sometimes up to a year. Those customers would gladly buy a new truck but you know the story there.
So, my question above is relevant based on my son's experience.
Thanks
