Enough people bugging me about my front lights so here’s a write up with an install video, ( the files to large to post and I’m not smart enough to figure it out so dm me and I’ll send it to you) If you don’t have the means to build your own bracket I have a friend in Quesnel B.C. Canada that will be producing these on his plasma table. I used 1-1/2”x1/4 flat bar. If you can read my writing you can steal my design. If you want I can get info on wiring them in.

Show us the light output at night with and without the trucks headlights. I like the stealthy look.

Looks great. Thanks again for sharing your design. Looks like there’s still a decent amount of free space around the lights for air to get to the inter cooler

These lights look great. Without being able to see it in person I would like to know more about how much air can get to the inter cooler. I know in the early versions of the 3.5l, Ford moved the license plates to the side of the front bumpers to help prevent modifications that blocked the inter cooler. They wanted all that air to get to them. At the time many customers were blocking it off and ruining the inter coolers. I know they have gotten much better at the cooling now that the engine has been out so long but definitely something to consider. It is just the perfect opening for cool lights though!

Definitely was a concern but considering that’s where the front plate is supposed to live I figured this is similar, lots of air volume on the top and bottom of this bracket so I figure it should be good. But will definitely keep an eye on things when it gets hot as hell in the summer.

Here’s light output taken with a really tired work phone (one day new one will show up) pictures absolutely do not do this justice! First pic is clearance lights, second pic is 5 bumper lights and last pic is 5 bumper lights plus two ditch lights.

Even with your phone pic's its easy to see they are super bright. Love the look and they won't interfere with your camera view. If the truck is as smart as Ford says the CAC shutters will stay open more often if it needs more cooling. They are closed most of the time.

Thanks I’m super happy with it and being able to have them on separate switches and be able to run just the fogs with amber covers will be handy AF.

It looks like you cut the plastic that was there...Did you by chance get a measure of the space between the plastic "pillars" that was there before you cut it?
I did not cut that piece actually I just left it out. It’s just in garage after kiddos go to bed I can measure for you what measurement are you after?

I asked that realizing you said in the video you just took it out, so that part is my bad. I was trying to see if I could find a way to mount between them....that doesn't seem feasible now though rewatching the video.

If you just ran 3 it could work. Wouldn’t look as good tho IMO

I wondered the same thing....but I thought MAYBE if I ran some chonky ones, like 4 inch or so big as could fit, it might be ok. Idk.

Like these:

Another option I’ve considered is a 3rd gen raptor has a plastic mesh piece instead of the two bars that should work with our bumpers but havent really looked into it

Perhaps, but I want lights there if I can get it the way I want lol.
