Can anyone tell me what these are?

On Monday I traded in my jeep for a 2022 tremor with 5800 miles on it. I absolutely love it!

I noticed what look to be some T shaped lugs on the roof. They're on both sides just outside the antenna.

Does anyone know what these are or what they're for? I can't find them in any other F150 pictures.

I have a 2022 401a. I do not have those. My first thought is those are brackets/attachments for a roof rack. Could’ve been installed by previous owner.

I can't find them or anything similar in any pictures. Roof rack attachments was my first thought but they're so far back and there's nothing in the front.

They're not hurting anything but curiosity has gotten the best of me.

I don't have them on my my 22 402A and they look aftermarket. That said, I would be very watchful that they don't leak. Honestly I may even try to get the dealer to remove them and make sure they are sealed.

I would take it back to the dealer and check to make sure they aren't covers for some holes drilled in the roof, it'd bug me not knowing what those are.

There are dealers that actually do that for someone with shaky credit.

The lugs are for holding the tonneau cover up.

Weird. I assume you can’t go down the road like that so it’s just for loading? I wonder if they are just stuck in or drilled in?

I don't believe you'd want to drive down the road with it up. I found an install video for the top lugs, they appear to be magnetic and have a 3M adhesive of some sort.

Those are for a LOMAX STANCE tonneau cover. I almost bought one but opted for the LOMAX original and love it. The whole cover comes off and reattached in seconds.
