Does anyone know how to get the Carplay to display full screen? This seems easy but for the life of me I cannot figure out how to. Its always showing that secondary screen on the right.

Thanks

You can swipe the small screen to the left to switch it. Or tape on the arrow. But I don’t think you can get it to display in full screen. Only the navigation can do that…I think. Hope this helps.

That’s been my experience as well, hopefully that will change with an update but we’ll see. Honestly through I love the look of the full screen factory nav in dark mode so much I’ve been using it more and more. It’s pretty good and makes Waze graphics look like hot garbage.

Ok thanks, I was going crazy trying to figure this out. I agree maybe in the future there will be an update to allow this.

I'm bumping this thread so Ford remembers we want this.
If you asked me one thing right now to change on the truck, it would be this. With a close second being the wireless charger to one that doesn't suck ass.

Interesting tid bit of info from a Ford service tech I picked up the other day, the wireless chargers that Ford and many others are using say they will work between 7-10 amps of power, but he has found to get them to work you have to have at least 8 amps. Most come around 7.45 is what he gets when he checks on the complaints, he has to then trace all the wiring to find a loose or ill fitted connector, at this point he usually is able to get around 8 amps and they work fine then. He put in a service memo to corporate but hasn't heard anything about it.

That's kind of wild. Does that mean I have to complain and hope I get a Ford tech that doesn't suck? 😬

Pretty much! Either that or swing it by when your up here!

One thing I have found over many years is that service departments are only as good as the service manager, get to know the service manager by talking with them then you'll know whether to waste your time with that service center. I am blessed to know the owner of the dealership so I get treated a little better, plus they have a pretty good service center.
