Does anyone have this setup (or any other Borla for that matter) or know anyone who does? If so, there's nothing weird about our trucks specifically that prevents this from working, correct?

Any input is appreciated.

The part of the video for this specific exhaust starts around 2:26

I’d be very shocked if the tips actually lined up with bumper holes. I’m copying a fellow on here and deleted resonator and have ordered a black widow muffler today. Will end up being much more inexpensive in the end.

100% like Captain said you’d be much better off going to a reputable muffler shop. All in I was $490 for Black Widow muffler, removed my resonator which they welded in place a 3 inch pipe, I also added larger welded on black rolled tips. It sounds awesome and I have an extra $600-$700+ cat back savings to invest in other mods.

I’ll add before and after pics once I find them.

I saw that as well but the delete, by itself anyway, just wasn't my cup of tea. So I started looking and this was all I could really find and it sounded great. Your worry is the same for me, so I emailed them to see. Was just curious if anyone on here tried yet.

Do you by chance have a video on a thread somewhere I could look at to hear it?

Haha nope, nice try though

Nice! It does sound really good....I may just go this route then. Definitely opens up another option. Thank you for walking all the way outside for me, I'm honored. Lol

All jokes aside thank you, that makes it seem much more viable.

Your welcome, it sounds even better facing the exhaust and under throttle. Good luck whatever you decide to do.

Oh, of that I'm sure and I appreciate it. Definitely hoping to do some more research. I moved to a new town so idk of any good muffler shops around, I'll have to figure that out too.

here's the part number on the muff i ordered up see how long it takes to arrive, shipping is joke up here these days. i was planning on just doing res delete but it didn't make much of a difference on its own.

Came to this thread to make fun of anyone trying to make their V6 sound good but this video makes me question my reality. Where are you in NC?
Told myself from day one I’d leave the exhaust alone for this very reason but here we are 🙈

I'm in Chapel Hill area, closer to Pittsboro/Apex
I live in Charlotte but originally from Youngsville/Wake Forest and family is still there. My office is technically in Chapel Hill too but I WFH. Might try to hear this thing in person sometime when I am up that way, when/if my truck ever gets built that is.

I just left chapel hill and moved over to sanford NC. There are a few of us spread out around here I guess.

Also, if anyone knows some in SoCal, Borla is looking for a Tremor to try things on....just saying. They asked me when I emailed them but I'm a little but away as we see here.

Any drone on the setup. I played with my Xterra exhaust and it sounds awesome but it drones in the cabin.

What a great cold Starr sound and under throttle but no drone…too much to ask, lol.
