So...I have a '25 with the 7 speaker (ha!) B&O. The center channel dominates everything so I'm thinking of cutting out pending a full upgrade next year. Given the amount of tech sensors, will this cause problems if it's disconnected?

Sometimes OEM amps will freak out when a speaker is disconnected because it’s looking for a constant load on that channel. Just disconnect it to see what happens because you’re not going to hurt anything.
Before you do that, here’s something that you can try to make the front sound stage not so dominant.

Go into the sound settings on the center screen, tap balance and fade, then tap / hold the center speaker adjustment button and drag it to where it’ll show behind the center armrest on the screen.
Doing this will tone down the center channel speaker.
Also, play around with the stereo and surround setting to see which one you like best.

Fader solution didn't work so I disconnected the center speaker which works well enough pending an upgrade. No adverse effects yet (the phone and chimes work from the front speakers) but I'm thinking a FORSCAN mod is in order. For all the "engineering" that went into the B&O, it's really bad. Thanks Camdenn.

This is the move. The default "center" is too stage forward. Drag the bullseye back to behind the console or headrests and listen. It will fill up the truck much more evenly.

Also be sure to set the mode to "surround" and it will widen the sound stage as well.

You’re welcome and I’m sorry to hear that it didn’t work for you.
In my opinion, the B&O system and any factory standard or upgraded system just doesn’t sound good to me which after window tinting, the infotainment system is the second thing I change after getting a new vehicle.
The only infotainment item that’s stock in my TREMOR is the head unit itself which can’t be changed nor does it need to be changed.

I'm probably on the way to the same. I did my '17 F350 will JL Audio Fix 86/VXi and Morel but I'm not wanting to go that far this time. I caught a bunch of grief from the service techs for sealing the doors and the back wall of electronics. Such is life in a small town. Thanks again.

Id love to go with the hidden sub solution but MAN it's pricey for what it is.
