Change to Production Date

I placed my order on 12/27 and got an email on Monday about the scheduled date being adjusted to March 28. Does this mean there was an earlier production date and it got pushed back or is this a standard scheduling email. This is the only email I got other than the order confirmation.

I had the same thing happen with a bronco we ordered back in October. Received an email about a change in production date but we never had a scheduled production date before. I would assume you and I both had one earlier and that email never went out. You should have a VIN show up when you click in the link to track it.

Thanks, that’s what I am thinking. Though I called the dealer two weeks ago and had them check. They said it hasn’t been scheduled as of yet. I see the VIN. Either way, not complaining, happy I got the vin and the scheduling.

I ordered the first week of week of November, 2021 (with order priority code of 12), was told.it would be a 2022. Truck was build 1st week of December and delivered 1st week of January.

Sounds like I somehow got really lucky. I never received anything from Ford, just text messages from dealer.

I was scheduled for last week with a blend date of 2/10. Then the shutdowns and reduced production announcement hit and I have been in production since the first. Went to my dealer in person monday to see what's up since my sales guy is no help and ford's system still says in production with a build date of 2/10. Ordered the last week in November and a week later was scheduled for this week, got bumped up a week early but no updates after that. Not sure if I'd rather know that it was built and moved to a lot waiting for chips or know it should have been built but have absolutely no insight on production, chips, etc.
