Anyone install Cobb Radiator shroud or snorkel scoop with bracket?
No, but unfortunately now I may have to, that looks clean with the coolant cover (which I do have and is great quality). I'm sorry, but you and my wallet can not speak to each other again.COBB Tuning - Ford Radiator Shroud F-150 EcoBoost Raptor / Tremor / Limited / 3.5L / 2.7L 2021-2023
A quality product with easy installation! This COBB radiator shroud will not only dress up your F-150 engine bay but also help performance by reducing intake pressure drop pre-filter. This is accomplished by allowing more airflow up through the cutouts and into the snorkel when the hood is shut...www.cobbtuning.com
True, but I put way too much shit on there when I work on the truck to remove it lol. I didn't even know these were out? Personally, I think it's a good find and will probably get them; if for nothing else the anesthetic.Lol! It does look clean and very functional. But you can do $20 bracket and just remove factory shroud too![]()
It really dresses it up. I noticed my shroudTrue, but I put way too much shit on there when I work on the truck to remove it lol. I didn't even know these were out? Personally, I think it's a good find and will probably get them; if for nothing else the anesthetic.
Oh well *swipes card*Dang, showed back ordered. You must have gotten the last one.
You know I did, probably have them powder coated blue and that will take weeks as well. Wait, wait, and wait. That’s been the theme of my Tremor since ordering.Oh well *swipes card*
Nope but these look nice. Dam ForumsAnyone install Cobb Radiator shroud or snorkel scoop with bracket?
I have spoke to several companies, and many people, and they say there are minor differences in the last gens piping/ sensor locations and said it won't fit. Now, I've seen it be made to work. But it involves trimming your engine cover I believe. Not 100% sure on the specifics there though tbh.Spoke to Cobb. Ya sounds like this shroud just came out about 2 months ago and I think he said the Carbon Fiber air scoop is also fairly new. I knew when I originally purchased the Coolant cover awhile back, I don't remember seeing these. They said the shroud sold out pretty quick and are working on getting more in but didn't give a time frame. I also asked about their Air Intakes for our 3.5 ecoboost. I was on the fence about adding one but since I am adding the Livernois tune now, I have a change of heart. I know they have ones listed for the 2017-2020. I assumed they will fit due to being the same engine pretty much, but he could not confirm that due to being a newer generation. They are waiting on the 50 CARB legal stuff, then they will release. Anyone know if this will fit 2021 and newer? I know even with the same engines, with the new generation, they may change things in the engine bay that can throw off part fitment. I'll probably wait and try to do a little more research.
The scoop seems bigger than stock don’t you think? It looks good for sure. Did not want to buy aftermarket intake but wantedCOBB just sent my parts out. Looks like they have the Shroud back in stock online in case anyone was interested.
I am not sure how much our stock intake scoop really gives under hard acceleration due to the Turbos but watching their video, more than I would have thought. Seems like just the Intake scoop bracket would be a good idea at the very least.
Good find @ jonesy23 just not good for my wallet
