2017 Toyota Tundra TRD Pro
Just wanted to introduce myself, my name is Jake I've been lurking for a while and decided to join to be more involved. I currently drive a 2017 Toyota Tundra TRD Pro, I do have a Tremor reserved that was dealer ordered so not sure when I will see it yet. This will be my first Ford truck and I'm excited for a change. Planning on doing an Overland build for my family adventures.

Welcome to the forum. I am also in Colorado…for now…
Have you considered a F250 with the diesel for an overland build? I would think that the extra payload and range would be a welcome addition to an overland build.

I did consider it, but I feel like the overall size of the super duty could be the limiting factor for some backcountry travels.

Welcome! I'm in walsenburg hunting for the next two or three days. I think this truck is the best overland available. It has great payload, smallish and great potential. I'm looking forward to your build

What color did you go with? like many already mentioned, will be cool to see the overland build

Thanks, good luck on your hunt

Welcome! It may take a while to get it, but you'll love it when it comes in. I had a 2014 Tundra Limited with TRD Pro package from 2014-2016. It was a great, impossible-to-kill truck, but overall I prefer the F-150s. The Tremor is my 2nd F-150. I hope you don't have to wait too long!

Nice looking truck, I almost went with that color as well. The dealer says my Tremor is complete and should arrive within a few weeks

So far, I'm pretty pleased with its capabilities. I'm in a holding pattern for suspension, winch and sliders.

And fender flares. Gonna need fender flares

Fingers crossed that Fox comes out with something quick here. I've got the fifteen52 Traverse HD wheels sitting here but can't decide on tire size due to the suspension concerns. I'm leaning towards Rocky Road Outfitters sliders. My Super Pacific topper is supposed be ready for install in February or March then I can start with the buildout of back interior.

I spoke with Fox a couple weeks ago and it sounded like theywere hopeful of have a Tremor specific application in Q1 next year. I know that a spacer leveling kit will cause the CV boot to contact the LCA/strut so that is not a good option.

I also am from CO and plan on pulling my camper deep into the National Forests next year. Having an option to level that is functional is more important than making it look better but sacrifice the CV boot as soon as I take it off road. A 1.5” fox front lift is what I am crossing my fingers for. I think that will be the perfect amount of lift to level it and still maintain decent up/down travel for off road use.
