Not sure this is a mod per se but don’t see a detailing/maintenance forum just yet.
Took delivery of my late ‘22 build recently and decided to get some exterior protection. I’d call mysef a detail hobbyist (at best) and can’t say how much I freakin love Cquartz UK 3.0. No affiliation with the product…just super impressed.
I used this video as a guide:
Notes:
- Ease of use is the best I’ve had on coatings
- Temp application windows are as advertised on the lower end—applied in 50 degree weather here in Colorado
- I bought a 50 ml kit and have the pics below for what I had left over. I’d say I was liberal and that a 30ml would do our truck and rims
- I applied to plastics and it worked well, but don’t expect it to last as long as a would be DLUX application
I’ll post here after a first wash to see how I did and will also follow up with a durability look after winter.
- Supposed to last 1-2 years so…here goes
